Jo Pierce

Jo Pierce is Senior Lecturer and Print Pathway Leader at Central Saint Martins, BA Textile Design Course and a member of The Textile Futures Research Community at UAL. Research includes textile print design for sustainable and regenerative practices, materials research and development and community and industry knowledge exchange.  

Projects focus on the creation of crafted and sustainable narratives that create connection to materials, things, people and places.  Cross disciplinary and co-design are key to practice and projects have included working with textile designers, architects, urban planners, historians, ceramicists and fine artists. Core skills and competencies include:
